Chilling in Cologne 🏙️
Room was clean and lekker spacious. Chommies at reception were friendly, always ready to have a quick chat. Location is pretty sharp-sharp for getting to the station and city centre!
But flippen noisy lift kept waking me up, so that was a bit of a jol.

Charming gothic decor creates a unique atmosphere. Breakfast offers decent cold options like bread, cheese, and boiled eggs.
The place feels quite dated, with cramped and uncomfortable rooms lacking air conditioning. Noisy heating kept me awake, and the shower drainage was poor, causing water to fill up during use. The key system is antiquated, requiring old-fashioned keys which can be a hassle during check-in.

Yo, the Pad Thai down the street from Pullermanns was legendary! Plus, breakfast was decent with freshly baked bread. The staff were super helpful, showing us the best local spots to hit up nearby.
Now, on the flip side, the lighting was a bit off—only one bulb was working, so it felt a tad gloomy. The single beds had their charm, but my partner and I ended up sleeping miles apart. Not to mention, the shower could've made a mess if the curtain wasn’t tucked right!

The beds were surprisingly comfy, and the continental breakfast had decent options to jumpstart the day. Plus, the historic character of the place with its gothic decor offers a unique charm that you won’t find in any modern establishment.
Unfortunately, the lack of air conditioning and poor noise insulation meant I didn’t have the best sleep. The room I was in felt cramped and outdated, with furnishings showing their age. Parking was an absolute hassle. there's no dedicated lot, and good luck finding a spot nearby without paying. I also ran into problems with the shower—drainage was slow, and that curtain doesn’t do a good job of keeping water in check. A bit more attention to cleanliness wouldn’t hurt either, as I found some remnants of previous guests lingering around.

The location is superb, just a 15-minute walk from the city center, making it easy to explore. Breakfast options were varied, featuring proper German bread and freshly squeezed juice. the room showed signs of wear, and the noise from the heating system was disruptive at night. The shower drainage was a problem, as it filled up during use, detracting from the stay experience.
